SONY / FILM & CREATIVE PRODUCTION · 2025

KaraokeULT Speakers.

A creative concept, carried through to the set. For Sony’s Karaoke ULT Speakers TVC, Christy developed the full creative concept and directed the film.

CHAPTER 01

One project. Two connected roles.

Christy’s contribution to this project covered both concept development and film direction. The creative idea and its direction on set form the two parts of her credited role.

The photographs open a view of that work: a conversation beside the camera, a group gathered around the speaker, a moment at the monitor and a portrait of the wider production team.

CHAPTER 02

The campaign frame.

The campaign visual brings the ULT speaker line-up into a blue and purple setting, with the products and Vietnamese campaign lettering sharing the composition.

From that public-facing image, the story steps into the studio. The next frames follow the people, product and production equipment behind the TVC.

CHAPTER 03

A conversation beside the camera.

In this frame, Christy points towards the monitor while speaking with a camera operator. The camera, display and crew remain visible together — a close view of the working set rather than an isolated portrait.

CHAPTER 04

Around the product.

Another photograph brings the speaker into the centre of the scene. Christy and the crew gather around the product, with the camera positioned beside them. It gives the project a second perspective: the product and the people making its screen appearance share the same frame.

CHAPTER 05

Looking towards the frame.

The view moves from the camera setup to Christy seated at a monitor. Her attention is directed towards the display, while people and props remain in the background. These are different views of the production environment; together, they make room for the quieter working moments behind the film.

CHAPTER 06

The wider frame.

The studio team portrait opens out from individual working moments to the wider group. People, speakers and production equipment appear together in the same space.

Christy’s credited role in the project is Director & Concept Creator. This story follows that personal contribution while keeping the team visible around it.
